The most expensive apartments are in Prague 1 – nothing has changed inrecent years, except that the cost per square meter of residential real estate in all districts in Prague increased in average by 9.2% over the current year of 2018.
Prague 10 is the fastest developing district of Prague, apartments here have become the most expensive, in Prague 4 you can still buy a 2+kk apartment withan area of 50 m2 for 4.3 million CZK (~ 86thousand CZK per sq.m).
The growth rate of the cost of apartments in Prague has decreased significantly(9.2% for the current year of 2018), in 2017 this figure was22.5%.
The number of apartments available for sale increased by 20%, because in this situation the economic mechanism “supply-demand” has been worked out, in other words: to not the buyers of real estate are ready buy apartments in Prague for more than 100 thousand CZK per square meter. Due to some increase in wages it does not allow many who wish to buy the desired square meters. It is also more difficult to get a mortgage in accordance with the new conditions of the Central Bank of the Czech Republic.
